Attachment files cannot be opened

You may receive error messages similar to the following when trying to open an attachment file:

"There was an error opening the file."
"The file may be unsupported, damaged or corrupted."
"Can't open the file."

Some proxy servers may return an error message instead of the requested file if the request is not allowed. Try opening the attachment file using Notepad or another text editor. If the file contains a readable text message, please troubleshoot your proxy server. If the file contains binary data, please contact support.
